DG-R series

This model of oxygen analyzer can be installed to the furnace directly and to measure atmosphere at high temperature and high humidity. There are 2 types, fixed type and portable type. It is suitable for open-heat-type-continuous-heating-furnace and reduction-atmosphere-furnace.
DG-IR (Portable type)

This portable type sensor can measure continuously for a long term.
The detector and display meter can be separated even it is built-in type in time of transportation. Therefore you can install the sensor near the furnace and control unit in the place where it is easy to operate.
The attached air aspirator absorbs the sample gas.

DG-ⅡNDR(Direct sampling)

This model is installed on the ceiling of furnace directly by mounting flange.
Sampling equipments are not necessary for detecting because it circulates and measures the gas in the furnace by heat convection directly.
It is suitable for open-heat-type-heating-furnace.

DG-ⅡNR(Sampling)

It is usable when it is hard to install it to the furnace directly, and you would like to measure the oxygen concentration at a selecting point from several points. It is suitable for low dew point gas and have a good reputation for management use of the DX and RX gas generator.

PO series

Sampling equipments are not necessary for this model because the detector is inserted in the furnace directly.
Oxygen analyzer is operated using the temperature in the furnace and measure oxygen partial pressure.

CM series

This model burns the mixed gas of flammable gas and air continuously in the combustion space. And it measures oxygen partial pressure in the combustion product and estimates deficiency and excess of oxygen in the fuel gas or furnace. There are 2 types, Fixed type and portable type.

Principle of Our Zirconia oxygen analyzer

When Zirconia ceramics is heated, it becomes an electrolyte and the oxygen ions can move through the cell. If there are two different gases inside and outside, a voltage is produced between both sides. Sensing cell inside contacts the air as reference gas and the outside contacts the sample gas. Then it produces voltage which corresponds to oxygen density. The cell voltage (Cell EMF) is also related to cell temperature.

Calculating formula

When there is air on both side of sensing cell, it theoretically produces no EMF. The lower oxygen density of sample gas is , the bigger EMF is.

About Measurement of Reduction atmosphere
Reduction atmosphere is used for a heat-treatment process or a ceramic baking of the metal. TB sensor can manage the oxidation and the reduction atmosphere by measuring oxygen partial pressure which dissociates from [H2+1/2O2⇔H2O, CO+1/2O2⇔CO2]
*[DG-R series] is suitable for accurate measurement of reduction atmosphere.
About Measurement of vacuum atmosphere
This sensor measures the partial pressure of oxygen. Therefore, if pressure changes with the gas of the same oxygen concentration, it produces the proper Cell voltage. For example, when the pressure is reduced to 1 Torr, oxygen density of air (206,000ppmO2) is shown as 270ppm.

TB-ⅡF can be used in the 10-3 Torr atmosphere. TB-ⅡV can be used in the 10-5 Torr.
About (CO+H2) measurement of the hypoxia combustion
In direct firing atmospheric furnace (CO+H2)% can be measured by measuring dissociated pO2 from [CO+H2/CO2+H2O] equilibrium condition.
1%(CO+H2)+1/2%O2⇔1%(CO2+H2O), so 1%(CO+H2) corresponds to –1/2%O2.
Control unit C-28C have ±O2%.(Option) around 0% for Equivalent combustion.

Limiting current type

When Zirconia disc is heated, and the voltage is applied at Pt electrode, electric current occurs by oxygen pumping action. And oxygen in the cap is discharged, so that oxygen partial pressure of cap inside is different from outside.
Voltage-current characteristic have a certain limit current in response to of oxygen as shown Fig 2.
We can see the concentration of sample's oxygen by measuring the current.
